SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUAL EDUCATORS

1:1 Coaching

  • 1:1 coaching is a high level of personalized support for educators ready and motivated to experience change in their lives. The individual meets with a coach every few weeks (as determined by the client and the coach) to progress toward the client's vision and goals.

  • An educator may invest in 1:1 coaching because they are:

    • looking for extra support with course development or instructional methods;

    • feeling overwhelmed with all the work involved in their role;

    • considering a career shift;

    • having difficulty with a team member, administrator, or the culture of the school, in general;

    • AND/OR are looking for a partner to support them on their journey of being the best educator they can be while also creating balance in their lives!

  • Sessions are each 60-min by Zoom. After you purchase your 1:1 coaching package, you will be directed to schedule your first session, the "discovery" session where we discuss your triumphs, challenges, and what you are hoping to achieve. Each following session is a check-in to discuss progress, talk about different strategies or tools to implement, and move you forward toward your personal vision.

    Sessions are like a conversation with a friend with expertise in the field of education, unbiased, and able to provide appropriate resources to help you achieve your goals.

GROUP COACHING

  • Group coaching provides educators with the opportunity to connect with other educators throughout the nation who are experiencing similar challenges and triumphs.

    The coach facilitates a conversation with a group of 5-15 individuals, during a 75-minute Zoom meeting. The coach provides resources to read or watch in between sessions, listens to the group's concerns during the live session, asks individuals to share their own ideas that can help support fellow group members, and provides research-based strategies and resources for the group to implement following each session. Each member of the group tries out the new strategies and reports back to the group the following session.

    Group coaching is different from a coach who works with a team or cohort of teachers from one school. More information on group coaching within an school is located on the Recentered webpage describing services for school organizations.

  • Topics are created based on the needs of the group. Topics from previous group sessions include:

    • how to implement retakes equitably without losing your mind,

    • efficient grading techniques,

    • managing student behavior,

    • effective communication with adults (other colleagues, admin, families),

    • and how to find time to get all the work done.

  • Some reasons educators may choose to enroll in group coaching:

    • They feel like they need support and are looking for something outside of what the school offers and/or would like to work with educators outside of their own school or district.

    • Group coaching is more affordable than 1:1 coaching and still very effective.

    • Some individuals prefer to have a group of like-minded individuals to support them in their journey of growth as opposed to working with a coach individually.

    • Individuals may prefer group coaching over a course or workshop because it is more personalized.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES & RESOURCES

  • Our self-paced online courses provide the opportunity to learn more about a topic and complete it at your own pace. Certificates of completion are available to utilize toward licensure renewal.

  • Events throughout the year offer the opportunity for learning and connecting with other educators, all while having fun!

  • Register for our featured online workshops on relevant topics in education. Recordings available for those who cannot attend the live sessions.
