COACHING

Coaching is focused on two main areas that support Recentered’s Mission:

(1) To develop clients in their role in education—teachers, support staff, and educational leaders; and

(2) To provide resources and create systems that allow educators to maintain balance in their lives.

Coaching is offered for individuals (1:1) or for small groups (group coaching).

  • High level of personalized support for educators ready and motivated to experience change in their lives. Sessions are 60-minutes each. All packages include one free introductory session, resources specific to individual needs and goals, and ongoing support (i.e., emails between sessions).

  • Up to 15 individuals who share common experiences and wish to improve specific behaviors or outcomes. Sessions are 75-90 minutes each. Group coaching sessions include pre- and post-work resources, live coaching, and ongoing support (i.e., emails between sessions).

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS

Recentered’s workshops give educators tools they can immediately put into place to begin feeling more productive, confident, and less stressed in their role as an educator. Workshops are customized after learning more about the organization’s needs. Workshops are 60-90 minutes (depending on the size of the group). Longer workshops/programs are noted in the descriptions. Topics can also be combined for longer workshops, if desired, and all workshops are available in person or online.

  • Learning to set boundaries is essential in creating balance.

    This workshop allows participants to:

    • reflect on the boundaries (or lack thereof) they currently set for themselves,

    • set three important boundaries to begin implementing immediately that create an impactful difference in their lives, and

    • practice communicating boundaries in role-setting situations.

  • Struggle to keep track of all of the diverse needs of your learners? This workshop is for you! This session will provide practical strategies for planning and tracking individualized student progress. Equip yourself with the tools and confidence you need to ensure that every learner receives the support they need to thrive. 

  • In this workshop, teachers will learn practical strategies to streamline teaching tasks and reclaim their time. From efficient lesson planning and grading hacks to organizing your workspace and digital files, we will cover tools and techniques that help you work smarter, not harder.

  • This workshop introduces practical strategies to keep students mentally and physically engaged, including mindfulness techniques, breath exercises, movement activities, and active engagement methods. Learn how to seamlessly integrate these practices into your daily routine to create a dynamic learning environment that supports students’ well-being and academic success.

  • Reclaim your joy in teaching and create more balance in your life using the strategies presented in this workshop. This session is tailored to the unique challenges teachers face, offering self-care strategies that foster wellbeing and revitalization.

  • Often, our energy is absorbed by external factors that are out of our control. By shifting our mindset to things that matter to us most and the things that we can control, we gain back mental, emotional, and physical energy allowing us to feel more energized, balanced, and at peace. This workshop will guide participants in (1) reflecting on their values, (2) identifying what is in their control and what is out of their control, and (3) utilizing mindfulness practices as a strategy to "let go." The strategies and resources shared can be utilized in classrooms with students.

  • Recentering Educational Leaders is a program designed for Instructional Leaders, Academic Deans, Program Directors, and Administrators -- anyone with a leadership role in an educational organization. Each session is 75-90 minutes, for a total of 4.5 - 5 hours.

    In this program, participants will:

    • Identify Their Self Leadership & Support Styles

    • Identify Their Communication Style and Apply Strategies to Demonstrate Effective Communication

    • Create and Run Effective Meetings for Their Teams

  • Ready to stop letting the never-ending to-do list control your life? This workshop guides participants in tackling their to-do lists by learning and practicing strategies that can be implemented immediately following the session. Participants will leave feeling more in-control of their time and ready to tackle their days with a new mindset. Bonus: Strategies shared in this session can be implemented with students (with modifications).

RECENTERED holistic FEEDBACK + CoachinG

One of the best ways to grow is to have a full understanding of oneself. Unfortunately, most educators feel that their current evaluation system is full of hoop-jumping, time-sucking work, and find the results meaningless. Recentered’s Holistic Feedback and Coaching Program is not a standard evaluation system—it is a program that focuses on gaining a deep understanding of the individual educator and then coaching the individual to better utilize their strengths and grow in other areas.

The program is tailored to the individual organization’s needs. Below are examples of what can be included:

  • 60-minute Interview with the Head of the Organization to Determine Overall Goals

  • Pre-Assessment Survey Created and Sent to the Organization to Identify Essential Skills

  • Creation of Assessment, which includes interviews and identifies who will be interviewed

  • Written Summary of Feedback to the Head of the Organization that Maintains Confidentiality of the Interview Participants

  • Action Plan for each Individual

  • Coaching Sessions to Support Individual in Meeting Goals in the Action Plan
